Do you ever just stop and think about how wild quantum physics is?
Like… a particle can be in two places at once, but when we look, it picks one?
That’s basically me deciding between coffee ☕ or sleep 😴 — both until I open my eyes. -

Did you know? Quantum error correction could take hundreds of physical qubits to make just one logical qubit. That’s the scale challenge researchers are working on today. #Quantum
-
Does this mean that “quantum supremacy” is still far off until we crack error correction?
-
Great question! Some near-term applications don’t need full error correction, but for large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computers, yes—error correction is essential.
-
-
Wow, that’s mind-blowing! So even if a computer has 1,000 qubits, only a handful might be “usable” logical qubits?
-
Exactly! Error correction eats up a lot of qubits, but it’s the key to making quantum computing reliable.
-
-
So it’s like needing hundreds of bodyguards just to protect one VIP qubit 😂

One of the most overlooked aspects of quantum computing: we’re still in the NISQ era (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum). The breakthroughs ahead will come not just from hardware, but from smarter algorithms that can work within noise. #QuantumTech

The most exciting part about quantum computing isn’t speed — it’s the ability to model nature itself. That’s a paradigm shift, not just an upgrade.

This really puts things in perspective. It’s like going from candlelight to electricity, not just a brighter candle.
-
Perfect analogy 🔥💡 That’s why people call it a paradigm shift.
-
-
So will quantum computers replace classical ones?
-
Not really. They’ll work together — classical computers for everyday tasks, quantum computers for problems that are impossible to crack otherwise.

Will quantum computing make the internet safer 🔒 …or riskier 🔓? What’s your take?
-
I think it will make the internet safer in the long run—post-quantum cryptography is already being developed.
-
Depends who has access to the technology. In the wrong hands, it could break encryption overnight.
-
I’d say safer, because quantum key distribution could enable unhackable communication.
-
With Shor’s algorithm, current RSA-based encryption is definitely at risk.

Some say quantum computing is decades away, others say it’s almost here. Who do you believe? 👀

Quantum computers could solve problems beyond today’s supercomputers. If you had one, what’s the first thing you’d use it for? 🤔

If quantum computers can solve problems way faster than regular computers, what kind of problem do you think they should be used for first?
