Okay so I keep seeing “Schrödinger’s cat” in memes, movies, and my nephew’s t-shirt. Yesterday I finally googled it and now I’m more confused. Was this a real experiment? Did a real cat get put in a real box? Is the cat alive AND dead at the same time or is that just a figure of speech? I fix transmissions for a living, please explain like I’m a transmission guy.
