I think finance deserves more attention in this discussion. Even incremental improvements in portfolio optimization and risk analysis could create substantial value for institutions willing to adopt quantum technologies early.-
True, although I wonder whether regulatory and implementation challenges might slow adoption in finance compared to scientific applications.

I’m keeping an eye on photonic computing. It doesn’t get as much attention as AI or quantum, but using light instead of electricity for computation could be a game changer for energy efficiency.
